This was a project of mine to make design mockups for a company or organization of my choosing, fictional or real. I choose Aperture Science, which is a fictional research lab from the videogame Portal.
This site was meant to be a way for the organization to recruit test subjects without telling the public what they do.
The design of the site was based off of the logo. I stuck with the black, blue and white color scheme through out the site. I wanted the design to give the same felling as if you where playing the game Portal so I went with a modern Sci-fi look to the site mockups.
As a result I created a design for a site that I’m sure Aperture Laboratories would use if they were real.
This was my e-learning project where I had to design and build a site which would help people learn something, so I designed a site which people could learn how to play the game of Team Fortress 2
The color scheme I wanted to be recognizable to the game, so I went with orange, sandy, and brown colors to go with the desert theme they have in the game
Ever class of the game I wrote my own guide so that users can learn how to play as any of those players. I did complete the site, but I never posted it because the game had been out for a while and I felt that a class guide wasn’t necessary anymore.
The result was a site where everyone can view and learn how to play the game
This project I did was to create 3 mockups for a site that would advertise an upcoming event. I choose the Painstation and made up a fake tournament that would travel through Canada.
For more info on the Painstation go here PainSation
I based the design off of the 3 types of pain you get from the Painstation, burning, shocking and whipping. The background image for the homepage is a very firry page, an interior page with an electricity background and another interior page with glassy background, though I wish I went with more of a barbwire background theme to represent the whipping pain.
All the images where borrowed from Deviant Art.
The result was a site where everyone can view and learn how to play the game
